Debut solo album from Philadelphia's own Charles Bowen Sr. who has developed a reputation for over 40 years of being a virtuoso in his musicianship and presentation. Performing and appearing on countless jazz classic recordings--including playing with members of the famous Miles Davis Quintet of the 1950s, and Philly Joe Jones, one of the most influential drummers in modern jazz.

Charles A Bowen Sr (born Jan. 18,1942) is An American Jazz Saxophonist, Teacher, and Composer. He was Mentored by Darnley Belgrave Sr (Father of Marcus Belgrave),and Robert (Boysie) Lowery (Legendary Teacher of Clifford Brown). He studied Composition at Philadelphia Musical Academy ,and has toured the United States, Europe ,and Africa, with a Variety of Famous Artist, and Band Leaders: "Philly" Joe Jones, Shirley Scott, Trudy Pitts and Mr C Bobby Durhamn, B.B.King, Ike and Tina Turner, Odean Pope's Saxophone Choir, Slide Hampton.
